Concussion Rehabilitation
A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury that affects brain function. They are usually caused by an impact to the head or body that is associated with a change in brain function. Some effects are headaches, trouble with concentration, balance, mood and sleep and symptoms can be aggravated by exertion and activity. In concussion rehabilitation, we use physical therapy to target concussion symptoms, teach you techniques to manage symptoms, and get you back to exertional activities.Â
